faq
How soon will my order be shipped?
All items are handmade by one person and, unless you have purchased a pre-made item, are made-to-order. As such please allow up to two weeks processing time for your order to dispatch.
Orders with multiple items or custom orders may take longer to process.
I aim for transparency and any delays to processing times will either be publicised or an email will be sent to those who's orders are affected.
How much does shipping cost?
All orders are sent with tracked shipping via Royal Mail.
UK Customers: Standard delivery (48 hour tracked) costs £3.75 on orders under £50 and is free for orders over £50. UYou can upgrade your shipping to 24 Hour Tracked for £4.80 and Special Delivery before 1pm for £12.
Elsewhere: Standard delivery (international Tracked) is variable depending location and the value of your order.
Important notes:
- Shipping to the EU/EEA and Northern Ireland is currently unavailable
- I will try to ship your order as soon as possible but the standard processing time remains at 2 weeks for all items. See above FAQ or visit the Shipping and Returns page for more information.
Do you ship internationally?
CrimsonMaille is currently shipping to the Great Britian and Australia, with shipping to the US and Canada in the works.
All commercial packages entering the US are now subjected to additional fees, due to the introduction of tariffs in August 2026. These will be applied at checkout.
CrimsonMille does not currently ship to the EU or EEA (including Northern Ireland), due to strict import laws. It is not currently feasible for me to undertake the amount of work needed to comply with the import laws for each country. I am just one person and can only do so much.
If your country has not been listed, please contact me and I shall see what I can do. I shall asses on a case by case basis to decide whether shipping is feasible.
Please see Shipping & Returns for more information.
Can I customise my order?
Yes! Please send an email to info@crimsonmaille.com before placing your order.
Customisations can be anything from an unlisted size or a change of clasp for accessibility.
If you would like to request a change of materials to solid/plated silver or gold, you will need to create a custom order due to the expensive nature of the materials.
You can also request something entirely unique.
please see the Custom Enquires page for more information.
Can adjustments be made if the jewellery doesn't fit?
It is the customers responsibility to ensure the correct measurement has been submitted when ordering. However, I understand that our bodies are always changing over time. Adjustment requests will be assessed individually, and will take into consideration the design of your item, the type of adjustment, and the size of the adjustment.
If the adjustment is a change of clasp due to accessibility reasons, I will do my best to find a clasp that suits your needs, though this is not always possible.
Some adjustments may incur a fee and customers will be responsible for shipping costs in both directions.
Bracelets are measured on a mandrel for consistency and necklaces are measured hanging from they maximum length. Measuring your item flat will not be an accurate measurement due do different designs needing to be longer than your wrist/neck circumference to achieve the correct fit. If your necklace does not fit please measure it hanging against a ruler to check whether it is the correct size.
If your necklace is the correct length but does not fit comfortably, please email adjustments@crimsonmaille.com. For more information check the Shipping and Returns page.
